Beryl.

Beryl is our vintage Bedford CF ice cream van converted by Whitby Morrison. She was first registered in 1979 and while we don’t have all of her history, prior to her restoration she worked serving the beach of Duckpool on the North Cornish coast. We found her sat in a field very tired, requiring tlc but drove (just!) and was basically original - including original large freezer, compressor and jingles! With savings and massive help from our families we were able to complete the restoration which took around 15 months. Where possible, original features (including the freeze) were kept. The jinges are allow Beryl to make quite an entrance at weddings and events around Cornwall.

Vera.

Vera is a 1970’s Vanmaster caravan. We don’t have a lot of history on her but we know that very few of her type were made and even fewer remain. Like Beryl, Hannah had fallen in love with this particular type of caravan and we had one or two false starts before eventually securing Vera in the summer of 2017. After another 15 month conversion, Vera was ready to serve delicious ice cream, sundaes, smoothies and shakes to our customers. In addition, a twin group Fracino duel fuel coffee machine, Fiorenzato grinder and several fridges also allows us to serve delicious fresh coffee and home-made cakes to customers at events across Cornwall and beyond!

Elsie.

Elsie is our brand new Pashley no.33 Ice Cream Trike. OK so she isn’t vintage in the true sense of the word - more retro. She does however hail from the oldest bicycle manufacturer in England (Pashley) who have been making bikes out of their factory near Derby since 1926! You can read more about Pashley here. We bought Elsie after realising not everybody wants a vintage ice cream van at their wedding (really!?) - for some, a fully equipped trike capable of serving up to 150 guests is more than enough! She also perfectly suits those smaller venues where access is difficult.
